Into the Moon

入月 — the sword cuts into moonlight, and a violet palace waits on the far side.

The sword tip meets the violet moonlight, gold and blood veins blazing — three breaths later the light splits. Hand in hand, they leap through.

剑尖对准紫色月光，金纹与血纹同时亮起——三息之后，月光裂开一道缝。两人握紧彼此的手，一起跳了进去。

The Story

At the forest cave mouth north of the city, the violet moon hangs low overhead like a great eye. Lane asks how they get in. "Drive the sword into the moonlight. Moonlight is the mirror's surface — the sword cuts right through." Lane raises the blade; the gold and blood-red veins blaze to life, coiling like twin dragons.

城北森林，地穴入口前，紫色的月亮低低悬在头顶，像一只巨大的眼睛。雷恩问怎么进去。艾莉丝说：「把剑插进月光里。月光是镜面。剑能穿越镜面。」雷恩举起剑，剑尖对准月光——剑身上的金色纹路和血色纹路同时亮起，像两条龙在盘旋。

"One breath." The sword pierces the moonlight; it ripples like water. "Two breaths." The light splits open, revealing a silver-white passage. "Three breaths." He takes Iris's hand and they leap together. In the silver void rises a palace of violet crystal — and at its heart, Vince sits on a throne cast from moonlight, smiling: "Welcome. I've been expecting you."

「一息。」剑刺入月光，月光像水一样泛起涟漪。「二息。」月光裂开一道缝，缝隙深处是一条银白色的通道。「三息。」他攥住艾莉丝的手，两人一起跳进缝隙。银白虚空中，一座由紫色水晶构成的宫殿拔地而起——宫殿正中央，维恩斯坐在一张由月光铸成的王座上，微笑着说：「欢迎。我一直在等你们。」

Lane and Iris exchange a look. Then he lets go of her hand and walks toward Vince: "Iris. Stay back." "What?" "If I bite him, I don't know what I'll become." He glances back at her: "If I turn into a monster, you seal me. With the sword. With your blood." She cries out; he smiles: "That's an order. In the name of the First Wolf." Iris grips the hilt, amber eyes brimming: "You come back. You owe me—" "Three hundred and three coppers. I know."

雷恩和艾莉丝对视一眼。然后雷恩松开她的手，朝维恩斯走去：「艾莉丝。你留在外面。」「什么？」「如果我咬了他，我不知道我会变成什么。」他回头看她：「如果我变成怪物，你得封住我——用剑。用你的血。」艾莉丝喊他，他笑了：「这是命令。以狼人祖先的名义。」艾莉丝攥紧剑柄，琥珀色眼睛里全是泪：「你回来。你欠我的——」「三百零三个铜板。我知道。」

⚡ The Hook
Lane turns and walks toward Vince — behind him, Iris grips the sword, eyes full of tears. One step, two: he doesn't know if he'll ever come back from the bite.雷恩转身，朝维恩斯走去——身后是攥着剑柄、眼里全是泪的艾莉丝。一步，两步：他不知道咬下去之后，自己还能不能回来。

Five Elements — The Metal sword cuts into Water moonlight — Metal feeds Water, and the gate opens to the blade. Metal Lane and Wood Iris step into the Fire moon: Wood feeds Fire, Fire tempers Metal. Ten Gods — Lane shoulders the kill alone, "Seven Killings" style — ordering her to stay, in the name of the First Wolf. Iris answers with "Hurting Officer" fire: gripping the sword, tears in her eyes, still demanding, "You come back." 八字十神详解 →雷恩以「七杀」之姿独担杀业——以狼人祖先的名义下令，把艾莉丝留在门外；艾莉丝却是「伤官」的烈：攥着剑柄、眼里全是泪，也要说「你回来」。

Wisdom — "The key is in the door, and in your own hand." The sword opens the way; coming back is held in both their hands. Courage is not being unafraid — it is walking in anyway.「钥匙既在门里，也在自己手里。」剑能开门，能不能回来，握在两个人手里——勇气不是不知道怕，是怕着也要进去。
