When he died he was clutching a silver ring engraved "To my wife, for all time."

Lane's voice, but weak: "Iris… it's me. I'm in the mirror. Vince is here too. He's waiting for me to fade. When I do, he'll open the Abyss gate again. You have to find the third key before the next red moon."
