The violet moon is rising, larger and closer than any red moon before. "So Vince is living in the moon now?" Iris nods: "Yeah. He wove his soul into the red moon. Doesn't need glass anymore. He is the mirror." Lane asks how they fight him. She meets his eyes: "We go into the moon. With the sword. The sword cuts through mirrors — the moon is just another mirror."

Werewolf blood devours mage souls." Lane gets it: "So I bite him." Iris smiles: "Yeah. You finally get to be the wolf."
